So you want to be an Artist, the book.I am thinking of doing a book with the " So you want to be an Artist" series.Something around 100/120 pages of stories.
What do you guys think? yes or no?

I probably wouldn't buy it because I'm cheap but I think you should go for it. Hope you get enough support for the kickstarter.

YES. This book would be a thing to read when you need to self therapy.
At least it would be for me.

Yes please! I'm using art as a form of therapy injunction with my therapist and medicine. And it would be nice to have a book I can look to when I feel not as good about my art and see some inspiration. I'm currently broke now but I will definitely save some so I can help with the kick starter.Ā Ā Ā Ā

Sure I would be interested in the book, but the problem with Kickstarter is that the shipping costs, often necessarily high (you can not do much with international shipments, for example) discourage the purchase for many people (personally once I gave up buying an artbook because the shipping costs were higher than the price of the book)
In addition, there is all the effort required for production and distribution that, if you intend to manage them personally, can be a nice source of stress.
There would be an alternative to using a platform for self-publishing (such as Amazon direct publishing) that allows you to have good quality books at attractive prices for buyers, with a good profit margin for the author and with absolutely affordable shipping prices.
Before embarking on a crowdfounding venture I think it's worth considering this option as well

I loved reading what you have so far but at this late stage in my life I would probably not be investing in that sort of book.Ā I do think that it's very good for a younger aspiring artist.
