Can you spot the constellation "Orion"? Usually you see it in winter only. At end of April you might see it directly after sunset. In few days/weeks it wouldn't be visible anymore.This shot was taken at Rheinhafen Karlsruhe (Harbor at river Rhine). It's the 7th biggest inland harbor of Germany.
Please see also the second photograph, where I changed the aperture from 6.3 to 14 and obtained a very different picture.

I'm amazed you were able to catch those stars with all the light pollution from the port lights, especially at sunset. Down near the Port of Tacoma, Washington, where I work, you can't see stars at 2:00 in the morning. Nice catch!

Thank you. It was raining the days before, so this evening there was a very clear sunset with a lot of stars shining. It was very beautiful to look at, even if I could bring only the bigger ones on the photograph.
