Currently, I am exploring the different and interesting possibilities offered by painting, more when it comes to color in the resolution of figurative compositions (references to reality) or purely abstract...Thanks to many of these practices and an investigation about of the subject, I have been able to develop a special project focused on giving higher possible protagonism to the color and highlighting the most important elements of my identity. The project consists by a part of paintings created with acrylics and from abstract forms, while the other part involves an installation with small and colorful triangular pieces in a large space; It helped me a lot to create this piece that I call "The Flight of Colors" and you can see photos of the project on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/pascua.easter…

When a painter paint a landscape on a canvas or a composer writes a song, not only involves the use of various techniques for the creation of the work... I see art as a magnificent medium in the expression of feelings, ideas, emotions and perceptions about something, to transmit an important teaching or message destined to generate a positive impact on the people of our surroundings; A very important element in the development of creativity, the use of imagination to a greater degree and to be sensitive people in the sense of practicing ethical values for the benefit of others. And it is also the representation of the innermost part of my being, a world that is part of my imagination and that I want to show everyone in a beautiful and magical way...an extension of oneself...the reflection of the soul...

Art has been part of my life since that I have memory, but not too intensely as now and is what I try to show with this piece: The words Painting and Fan Art appear in one of the curls of the hair, since that art mediums are an important part of my artistic journey...I have drawn Fan Art since my childhood and represents my beginnings in the world of art, having a better approach to other art mediums as Traditional Art (Drawing and Painting) and Digital Art. Far from imagining that I have a artistic potential and I think that is one of the best things that have happened to me in life.

I remember those moments when I was just a rookie artist, so the right side of the girl's hair is straight and there is not much to show (I was not good at this, not even working with color pencils)...I've never been to an art school and for that reason, I felt at a disadvantage compared to those with more knowledge and experience. As time goes by, I learned many essential things, on my studies and private investigation, that has allowed me to grow as an artist, even discovering those things that give strength to my art:

The lively tones and harmonious combinations of color, that you can see in any of my works; Especially, an affinity with the color Pink as the color of love and passion ... that's why it's my favorite color. Playing with the colors of different shapes possible is something I love to do, involving abstract art and any thing that incites the imagination.

The bond of love that unites me with my pet, a parrot called "Nacho", whose presence is strong in the flight of the birds emulared by the triangular pieces and the green feathers. He is a great inspiration for my work in traditional art

The "blank" places in the hair means that I still have a lot to learn, we are in a constant acquisition of knowledge and experiences that never ends...My art has taken shape thanks to that, reaching what it is currently which everyone can see in my gallery and in my most recent project (mentioned at the beginning). For me it is a great pride to show all that I achieved in my way and I know that I can continue to evolve to achieve even better things, since the journey of an artist lasts for his whole life.

To the new artists: Continue with your own artistic work and never give up. I understand what it is like to feel overwhelmed and a bit intimidated in front of artists who are very good in what they do, you may have doubts about whether you could become as good as those people.. Please never try to compare yourself with anyone or deduce what you can do in relationship to what others have done before you. Being faithful to your essence is the most important, and the most wonderful thing about of the art is that it offers almost infinite possibilities to create...it depends on each person how to use the available resources and their creativity to make that happen.

It is good to seek information from artists (including current artists) and artistic movements that are of interest to you, look at your work to learn more about of technique and those things that inspire you to create; You can also look at books and tutorials about your favorite medium of art...and on DeviantArt you can find many interesting and useful things for your practice, ask for a advice from more experienced artists in your area, and they gladly will share with you what they know. But most important of all: Practice makes the master. You should never abandon your practice and continue in the process to discover your own artistic style, explore new horizons of art and develop something amazing from that...Be creative at all times and keep trying!
