ok ive been looking everywhere for something to use for my lenses and the brass metal ring part... what are you using? if you dont mind sharing?

i use copper pipe. the ones used for plumbing.
then I just layer one on top of another.
i use plumbing solder, which is made for the pipes.
then I use the doorknob hole cutters to cut out perfect circles on a sheet of acrylic polycarbonate something something... i get then off ebay, the 1/8" to 1/4" are good thicknesses.
thats how I do it. simple, and fairly doable. with more practice it slowly becomes easier. I just have a knack for paying attention to detail and making things comfy and long-lasting, cause these things will have my name on it.

Nicely understated. A few screws where they need to be, but no hardware that's just there for show. Stitchwork looks tight and the leather well fitted. Good job.

Thanks. I don't dislike all the additions that other people make. I'd just rather go for function and proper fit.
