Yay! First official post! (Sorry, the pictures may be a bit blurry☹)

Okay, so basically this is my setup of the family tree. It's mostly all canon (or semi or sub canon) while the rest are fan theories, but all the characters shown exist in either the movies, show, books, comics, etc.

From top to bottom, left to right:
- Askari and his unknown sibling. Askari, the first lion guard leader in the Pridelands, is the furthest back character I have seen in the fandom. So far back, I'm not exactly sure how many generations he is from Simba's great grandfather. Either way, based on the fact that the leader of the guard is (usually) the second child (normally a male), that would mean he is a distant uncle to Kion.
- Mohatu, Choyo (fanon name for the selfish lion), and their unknown mates. Like others, I kinda theorize that Mohatu and Choyo were brothers, with their mane and coat color being similar. They definitely look more similar than Mufasa and Scar ever did, lol 😂.
- Sarabi and Diku's parents, Ahadi, Uru, and Choyo's cub/Scar's parents. Sarabi's parents and Uru were never shown and it was never canonly mentioned if Choyo had any cubs (or what his actual name was). And a lot of people go back and forth on it, but I believe Mohatu was Ahadi's father, not Uru's.
- Mjambo, Diku, Sarabi, Mufasa, Sarafina, Zito, Scar/Taka, and Zira. Mjambo (my name for him) and Diku (one of Sarabi's sisters in the original LK script) are Simba's unnamed aunt and uncle from a German LK comic. Zito (my name for him) is Nala's father, but was only ever mentioned once in Lion Guard. Scar is not Mufasa's brother, but instead a cousin of which his parents Ahadi and Uru took in because his real parents didn't want him after he was born.
- Diku's unnamed cubs, Mtoto, Simba, Nala, and Mheetu. I don't have names for the little cubs, and I figured since they are younger than Simba Mtoto would have been a different cub.
- Chaka/Fluffy, Kopa, Kiara, Kovu, Kion, and Rani. I headcanon for my fanon where all Simba's cubs exist that Chaka and Kopa are twins (not identical, obvi), with Chaka being the first born and meant to be future king. However, I don't have an idea fleshed as to what would have happened to them for Kiara to end up being queen. I wouldn't say both died. Maybe just one. But at least one of them actually just ran off either to avoid becoming king or maybe to be with a forbidden love. Idk 😑.

It's possible that my version of the family tree will change overtime as I am struck with new ideas. Any of the characters I didn't really touch up on is because I'm keeping their relation and storyline mostly the same.

I will be making 1 or 2 more family tree deviations to cover Zira and Rani's family, as well as other random canon lion characters at some point. Stay tuned!
