The "sins" you are talking about are written in a book that is just a copy of copies that came from copies of the copies that were translated back and forth so many of times that we can't even determine how much it was altered, either by translation errors or to suit the power struggle between humans throughout those 2000 years... humans are biased to the core and even some "stone written" rules changes from pope to pope, so why believe so blindely in some old piece of text written by humans to the point of pursuing discussions with unwilling individuals in different medias to force your views upon them?
