The ink on his tail came from a pact from a human, who promised to not take down the forest if Kayeri did not hurt the rest of the humans in the small cabins along the edge of the forest, for they can be quite oblivious. The red ink is from the signing of the pact, and he will keep the ink there as long as the pact still stands. [ sorry i'm not that great at writing ]
