hi! i'm gonna cut right to the chase here.

GOOD THINGS:
-i really like the tinted shading you have going here! it makes the image feel nice and warm. : )
-the marker brush you used for the linework works really well with your cartoony style, and makes the piece feel authentic.
-the expression feels really earnest without being too dull or too exaggerated- well done!
-while not out of this world, the pose is very nice! the subtle asymmetry with the positioning of the legs and wings helps this picture to feel interesting.
-overall, while not perfect, the anatomy is actually really good, and nothing stands out to me as being very awkward or out of place in the character's body or face. this is an excellent thing to accomplish!

LESS GOOD THINGS:
-while your choice of color for shading is very nice, the application of that color itself is inherently flawed. you appear to have a fundamental lack of understanding regarding the shape and form of the object you're shading. are her legs flat? no? show that with your shading! the lines of the shadow should curve outward to give the leg mass and weight. the same goes for the tail, arms, body and wings.
-still on the topic of shading, the tail, wings, and clothing all have the same texture as the short fur on the body. did you intend this? make sure your shading includes details such as chunks of longer fur, folds and wrinkles in clothing, and smaller downy feathers as well as primary detail! it makes a big difference.
-speaking of the tail, i admire what you are attempting to do with the line detail of fur, but you are going about it in perhaps the wrong way. i would advise you look at some pictures of real fur and take note of the direction, "flow" of the hair. in cartooning we are able to simplify this into chunks and sections, but the directional aspect still applies. I would recommend using a slightly smaller brush to add in your texture detail on lineart, and keep in mind aforementioned flow so that they all transition smoothly from base to tip!
-this last bit is more of a nitpick than anything, but it appears that the sweater and the fur on the chest are one??
just at the base of the far wing where the line of the sweater collar ends, it appears that the sweater is made of fur! make sure to refine and polish your drawing a little more and check for these small errors before you post for a more professional look.

overall, you have great potential! keep up the good work and make sure to make each of your drawings the best it can be and you'll be a pro in no time!
good luck e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>
