in short, you really don't have to ship any character with one particular one. you can have multiple while still having a preferred ship (it's called having a preference). i made this because i really can't stand those who are "die for our ship" who literally hate every ship because it's not theirs. i've seen it not only with same-series couples but also crossover couples, yes, pairings that are crack to begin with.for those who want to read more into what die for our ship actually is, i suggest checking the tvtropes page out for it.

True, I am a mulitshipper for some series and I ship a lot of ships in Soul Eater. I ship Maka x Soul, Maka x Crona, Maka x Death The Kid, Death The Kid x Soul, Kid x Liz, Kid x Patty, Death The Kid threesome ship with Liz and Patty, Soul x Blair, Stein x Spirit, Spirit x Blair and Stein x Marie.Β Β

Those are all good ships, but the only problem would be those annoying people who try to bash you and complain about multiple ships for one character. To be honest, I completely support those because, sure, a character can have feelings for more than one other characters.

One thing I find even more annoying is when the people who are against multiships think that you're awful or hypocritical for not shipping a main/popular/canon couple along with the other ships and that you hate a character (usually a female) or a certain kind of ship (either a straight or gay one) just because you don't like that particular ship. For example: I despise SonAmy, but I ship Sonic and Amy themselves with other characters (mainly ships like Sonouge, KnuxAmy, SonKnux, and RougAmy),it doesn't mean I automatically hate them as characters or that I hate straight ships in general, I'm just not fond of that particular couple and I'd rather see them as good friends or siblings.Β

Just because you like one ship doesn't necessarily mean that you have to hate the competing ones.
