How do you see characters that you create?How much development do you do on them?
I figured it might be fun to show what my process is for developing a character.
This is a (supporting) character from my upcoming book and this is the initial concept for her. I'm talking 1st time from my brain to paper.
What I will do is post her "evolution" and or my development process of her until I feel she is finished (design wise) and ready to be drawn in my actual comic.
Would you all be interested in seeing how this plays out or have I hit on yet another brilliantly lame idea?

About this idea: brilliant it is, lame it most assuredly is not!
When I commission an artist, I like to follow every step as an image develops, so this that you're doing will be great fun to watch.

that`s pretty cool outfit, very imaginative! i guess yeah i was told that an artist is never happy with a creation, well he or she is, but will alays want to make some changes to make it better, and so very true!!

i guess art is an ever evolving expression of the soul
so yeah... i would love too
my chars always go through fases... and i keep changing the outfits or teh anatomy if i'm not happy with it... but then again i'm a very emotional drawer...
so they dictate how they come out
