Description Common Name: Dicerorhinus
Common Name Synonyms: Sumatran Rhinoceros, Asian Double-Horned Rhinoceros, Hairy Rhinoceros, Jungle Woolly Rhino
Scientific Name: Dicerorhinus sumatrensis
Size: 110-145cm tall in the shoulders, 235-375cm from snout to tail
Classification: Perissodactyl Ungulate
Habitat:Β Forests, Mountains, Jungles
Diet: Herbivorous; diet consisted of twigs, branches, leaves, shoots, and even fruits.
Description: A close living relation to the Eurasian Woolly Rhinoceros(Coelodonta antiquus), the Dicerorhinus is one of the smallest members of the rhino family, but it is a big animal, bigger than the Choeropsis(aka Pygmy Hippopotamus)(Choeropsis/Hexaprotodon liberiensis). This critically endangered living fossil lived in the jungles of Southeast Asia and the islands of Indonesia, as this rhino shares the habitats, ranges, and trails with elephants, tapirs, deer, pigs, and other animals. The Dicerorhinus does not have any natural predators than humans, but tigers and dholes can prey upon the calves, but calves stay close to their mother. A bond between mother and her calf is the exception, along with a pair in mating season, most Dicerorhinuses lived alone, and they can hide themselves from poachers that can hunt them for their horns. These little rhinos have fur, make the Sumatran rhino, a look-alike and close relative to the extinct Eurasian Coelodonta. Baby Dicerorhinuses don't have horns, until adulthood, that males have large horns, but females have their horns being smaller. The horns of the rhinos are NOT BONES!! They are made out of keratin, just like our fur and finger/toe nails, and even claws.

Yeah probably, similar to the whiskers of Mr. Rhino from the 1997 film Jungle Emperor Leo.
