I'm thinking that he can morph machinery but if he upgrades it, than it's now part of him. he would be able to override fire walls and other machine related things, plus he's now able to shoot faster lasers so that it doesn't take as long. he can only use the machines he absorbed like 10 times before and it starts to wear down until it's just data!
