quetzacoatl and the tree of lifemostly traditional media, markers, pencil crayons, but then I darkened the colors on photoshop...
my new paradigm on the one who will end our world...
would make a wicked poster, I think...
based on this freeform doodle/writing from my last mental pilgrimage...
theories and madness
quetzacoatl is copyright of an ancient civilization...@.@

Never heard of it, but I really deeply appreciate you telling me, I can definitely see myself reading into this alot. I've been quite fascinated by the rattlesnake cult of the anciant mayans, and really ought to expand my knowledge into the other anciant civilizations as well...
ANd thanks for the compliment on the art, I am quite flattered.

I could have sworn i already commented on this....
But i love the image on the right.... the way the spine bones morph from eyes, and below is tree roots, and they all connect to the flower/eye at the top.

well... I dunno... to tell you the truth, I draw a hell of a lot more than what I post, I post about ten percent of my works, because that's all that turns out good. I have quite a collection of sketchbooks, I go through them like I go through a jar of pimento stuffed olives... that's fast.
the more you draw, the better you get... right? I've just been practicing for years.

aztecs, indeed, but I'm more interested in mayans in general, who lived in the same area but ages before, they originally created quetzacoatl, but with the name zamna, reflective of the zamnaism that their rattlesnake cult religion has come to be called... I've always been compelled to learn about these people, they were intermingled in my favourite stories as a child, then as a teenager I always had a mayan based poster but didnt realize it until I started reading about them... they're very, very fascinating. Aztecs are quite interesting too, but all the human sacrificing kinda frightens me.
