Is pork floss a meat or is it just called pork floss? If so, is this dish sweet or something else?

Pork floss is made by stewing the meat in a sweetened soy sauce mixture until individual muscle fibres can be easily teased apart with a fork. It is then dried and packed. At the shop, it appears like cotton wool. Taste-wise, it is kind of a combination of sweet and savoury.
