Description
My altered book, done as an assignment for Advanced Art.My first ever piece like this. I'm pretty proud of it. It was pretty much all experimentation, and I was lucky it seems. c: All of the feathers on the left wing (owl's left, not picture left) were made completely from scratch, no stencils. I then reversed the patterns I used for those feathers to finish the other wing. He's comprised of about 4-6 layers total, not including facial details. The wings were bent while the glue was still wet, and then allowed to dry so they kept their shape. Details were drawn in black sharpie and red pen.

Thanks so much. ;u; And yeah, I chose a boring book because I would have been really sad if I cut up a good one. lol
