...alternately titled Poll Dancing.Inside jokes abound! All you really need to know is that this is my first serious attempt at drawing Pollution from Good Omens and it's a gift for my dear Famine, le Maj.

Hmm. Well I think it needs it's title changed, though it is a sexy picture of pollution. They mention in Good Omens that he took over for pestilence(plague, etc) around early 1900s because of the invention of penicillin. Good joke, really. So, iplague would more suit pestilence since pollution had no hand in it. Plague also called pestilence. My history class has proven useful. XD

The picture actually took its title from an in-joke (based on a bit of GO role-play) with the people that I originally drew this for, nothing to do with the image itself, otherwise it would have been more obviously appropriate. My specialty in the GO fandom by the time I left it was becoming historically based fanfiction, particularly centered on the Horsepersons, so I'm very familiar with their timeline. This picture, however, just really wasn't drawn with the intention of being taken seriously.

Hahaha! That's a great pic! I read on a website somewhere that the director who wanted to make Good Omens a movie wanted to cast David Bowie as Pollution. The movie plans have fallen through for now but.......maybe some day!!!

Excellent! Pollution is my favourite GO muse (aside from Crowley, natch). There needs to be so much more Pollution fanart and fiction in this world. The flick of his hair captures his movement perfectly. And RAWR to the tummy button ^______^

I play him at desperatefans on Livejournal. It's a mish-mash of literary characters interacting with one another. ^_^
