A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice.

Trying to maintain his leader-like authority means he must play the same tough character as he was before The War.
This proves rather difficult for him.
Constantly on edge with his anxiety and PTSD, he is rather jumpy and startled easily.
He has nightmares a lot and can't see blood or hear screeching without having a panic attack.
He tries his best to hide it, though. Timidbreeze helps.
Ever since The War, Fallenstar has sworn off fighting.
Even when his deputy, Scorpionfang, had called him out and wanted to fight, he backed off.
He lost a life as a result, but he is reassured by the thought that Timidbreeze would be proud of him.
Tortured by the mistakes of his past, Fallenstar feels like he will never live up to his true potential.
He is constantly afraid that he will waste the second chance he's been given by StarClan,

-Timidbreeze had their second litter of kits: Falconscreech, Scalewing, Silkleaf, Thymestep and Windcrest.

-Scorpionfang and Timidbreeze had a fight, so Fallenstar and him had a falling out
-DawnClan had trouble with a Lynx; Fallenstar went to speak with them to discover it was already dead and that Cinderstar had stepped down; Left Cottondust and Sorrelfox in DawnClan to keep two of the toms from killing each other.
-His daughter Silkkit fell out of a tree and got injured, was discovered to have a bad disability where she bleeds too much. She was assigned as a nursery helper to prevent further injury.

Leaf fall was one of Russetmoon's favorite seasons. The leaves turning beautiful colors filled the tom's head with wonder, and the chilly breezes made him love having his dense coat. Hopefully, now that the clan seemed to be thriving, they'd have a normal, and happy, leaf bare.
Russetmoon was sunning himself outside the warrior's den. The Moonclan's forest gave limited sunlight to the camp, so the warrior was grateful that this spot was open, none of the elders got this it before him. Though if one wanted the spot, he'd gladly get up.

It was one of the first days Fallenstar had recovered enough from his injuries to actually go outside without the watchful eye of Spiceshadow. Now that the Abyssinian had lost his leg, Fallenstar had decided he'd take over the tom's deputy duties after Spiceshadow announced his retirement. It was the ruddy tom's turn to rest now, and time for Fallenstar to begin proving himself as a good leader. He intended to start today.
Emerging from his den, he noticed Russetmoon was sunbathing outside of the Warrior's Den in a particularly enviable sunspot. Knowing his brother had been busy with training Sootpaw, the tabby knew this was one of the sable-colored tom's only time to rest.
"Can I get you a mouse or something?" he asked, padding up to his littermate.

The sun was warming every part of Russetmoon's body, and he stretched his muscles, giving them a pleasant feeling. It was nice to relax once in a while when training was twice a day. He wanted to take advantage of the last few warm days; Russetmoon remembered the early chills of leaf bare before. Given he was much younger then, only a young apprentice. He would enjoy every day before leaf bare. Dear Starclan I hate Leafbare...
A shadow peered over his body, and the voice made the red tom opened his eyes. A crooked smiled formed on his face; Seeing Fallenstar up and about was also something to be happy about. "I'd love a magpie if there is one, but a mouse is perfectly fine. You up for a rabbit?" he replied, sitting up and stretching, reading to head over. It was a shame to lose the spot, but spending time with his brother was much more important than sunning. Though, sometimes is was hard to look at the tabby leader. From the wounds he gained during the battle, he honestly looked like more scars than fur. It pained Russetmoon to see his brother like this, but he was recovering.

Fallenstar shook out his pelt as he saw Russetmoon's eyes glaze over his scars. StarClan, he must look like a mess. He certainly felt like one.
"A rabbit sounds nice. I'll try and find a magpie too, I say we deserve some nice eating, don't you agree?" He watched as his brother stretched and began to stand up; from the other side of camp, Fallenstar could see Flarewing drop into a hunting crouch as if she would claim the sunny spot as soon as Russetmoon left. Not wanting to lose the sunspot for his brother, the tabby lifted a paw and motioned for Russetmoon to sit.
"You can stay here, I'll go grab it," Fallenstar smiled, flicking his tail as if to wave away any protests that would surely come afterward. "I need the exercise anyway."

Staying her felt nice, but he didn't want to make Fallenstar get his meal. Though, he was right, he did need the exercise. Not like the leader would let him argue either. "Alright, thanks Fallenstar." Russetmoon settled back down int he sunny spot, but left a little room for his brother. After all he has been through, the leader deserved a small pleasure, such as sunning. Unbeknownst to him, Flarewing sat down, slightly disappointed in her loss of spot. Goldflame came up beside her, and she turned away, not remembering why she was sad in the first place. Russetmoon relaxed again, absorbing the sunshine.

Fallenstar returned not too long afterward with a small rabbit and a magpie; he placed them at his brother's paws. "Luckily we had two magpies in the pile," he explained, laying beside the sable furred warrior. "I got you the more plump one. I figured you'd like that." He flicked an ear as he checked the location of Flarewing, who seemed to have settled down with Goldflame. The tabby noted that the two had grown closer to each other during these past few moons. He had heard rumors from Timidbreeze and the other Nursery Queens that Flarewing may be expecting kits soon.
More mouths to feed...more work to be done. Fallenstar because a little too preoccupied with his own thoughts.

Licking his lips, Russetmoon nodded in appreciation. "Thank you, although I would say you would need the extra meat more than I, but I assume you'd refuse." the warrior joked, pulling his prey closer. The day had started cold, and now was reaching green leaf temperatures. Russetmoon wondered when the weather would become consistently chilly; he certainly wasn't looking forward to it.
He began to pick off the feathers of his bird and turned to his brother. "How are Timidbreeze and the girls?" the tom had a hunch Fallenstar had seen and spoken to his family a few times, especially just after the war settled down.

"You would assume right," Fallenstar laughed, there was much too much work to be done, and his warriors needed more nourishment than he did.
Watching Russetmoon as he idly pulled feathers off of the magpie, the tabby answered, "They're fine. I think they're still a little upset over Tornkit but...they're making good progress in their trainings, regardless." He looked at his brother now, "Vixenpaw tells me that you are her favorite uncle, by the way. Uh, 'even better than Springpaw', I think is what she said."

Russetmoon nodded solemnly. He'd heard of Tornkit's passing. Of course, he arrival was so close to the war that the warrior never did get to meet him properly. He'd try to make up for it, by connecting with his other adopts kin.
The sound of Vixenpaw's name brought a smile to Russetmoon's face. "Yea? Well she is indeed a favorite of mine. She's bright, and very adorable. She'll do very well as an apprentice. Her sisters, too." The name Springpaw rang a bell; he'd talked to the apprentice the other day, in fact, about the girls. He seemed quite defensive about them, giving Russetmoon the impression he didn't want to give up the title of 'best uncle' so easily.

Fallenstar purred proudly as he considered his daughters. Even Cottonpaw, Dandelionpaw and Milkpaw, though they weren't technically his or Timidbreeze's biological kits, made him proud. Vixenpaw and Morningpaw of course were a little more sentimental to him, and though he tried to be fair to his adopted kits, he couldn't help but show a hint of favoritism.
He supposed he was proud of all of the kits in MoonClan. Being leader meant that the kittens would grow up to be his warriors, and they were just as important--if not more so--than the grown cats. He silently made a note to interact more with the Nursery dwellers.
"It's strange to think they're growing up so quickly. They'll be warriors before I even know it."

Russetmoon grinned. It was so nice to see the smile on his brother's face. "They are indeed. I really do believe they make great assets to Moonclan." he nodded in finality. Things were changing quickly in the camp now. The war was over, and cats were settling down. Many queen were expecting kits. Russetmoon wasn't sure when Marigoldflame was going to start announcing her pregnancy; however, the warrior knew it would be an awkward conversation. Deciding to switch his mind off of it, he spoke again.
"How are you doing? I don't want you to overwork yourself. Being deputy and leader, while trying to be a father is going to put a lot of stress on your shoulders, brother." his voice was serious, and slightly concerned. he was sure Timidbreeze already had this conversation with him, but Russetmoon worried about his brother's health.

"Ha," Fallenstar shrugged, hoping not to alarm his brother. "So I go a few nights without sleep, not a big deal. It helps the Clan...I mean, I can't really tell Spiceshadow to come back, and the only other cat I trust in MoonClan to be Deputy is you, Russ..." he looked at his paws, kneading the ground. "But...I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing."

Russetmoon frowned at the information. He didn't seem troubled but now the leader seemed anxious. Russetmoon placed his paw on his brother's shoulder gently. "After the six moons are over, everything will be back to normal... There has to be another warrior in Moonclan who is fit to be your deputy." he tried to sound reassuring. "Just know we're all here to help you. Timidbreeze, Myself, Deathsong. I could bet you ten hares that even Spiceshadow would be willing to help you in some daily duties."

"B-but, I can't inconvenience you all that way...I don't want to make you all do extra work, without giving you the title of Deputy," he shook his head. "I wish I could have more than one. That would fix everything."

Russetmoon was baffled. "Honestly, Fallenstar, helping you would help me. Seeing you stressed and overworked hurts everyone who cares about you." he explained, almost desperately. "And who gives a fox dung about the title? We just want the clan to thrive with you leading us, the way you're supposed to."

"I'm just worried...that I may not make it, in StarClan's eyes. You know? And then, you'd have to take my place as leader." Fallenstar shuffled awkwardly. "I don't want to unfairly entrust you with all that responsibility all at once."

Russetmoon's normally calm, blue eyes were stony and serious. "I have full faith that Starclan will accept you; you've done so much for the clan already." He touched his tail on Fallenstar's flank to calm him, at least some what. "I do not expect you to make me deputy, I expect you to at least let me help you out. I'm willing to patrol more often, hunt more often. If you're struggling, you won't struggle alone."

Fallenstar didn't realize his breathing had become erratic until Russetmoon's steady tail was placed on his flank. "T-thanks, Russ. I'm sorry--all that stuff that happened, in the War and before that...it's kind of got me on-edge all the time. I don't mean to vent it all to you and make you worry."

"Venting is something we all need... I'm just glad you are at all. I was afraid if you kept it all bottled up, you'd explode in your sleep." Russetmoon's tone was understanding, not exactly sure how to comfort his brother, but was definitely trying. Maybe now, he should change the subject to something happier. "I heard Timidbreeze is expecting again."

Fallenstar felt his breathing calm and a smile cross his muzzle. "She is," he blinked, remembering when the she-cat broke the news to him. "I'm...I'm glad. She's terrified, of course, but I mean...she's an amazing mother. I know she'll be fine with this new litter. And I'll have a chance to actually be a father this time around."
