((I'll go ahead and start then~))
Softclaw still couldn't quite believe it, Fawnheart was back. It had been so long since her friend had disappeared that she, like many of the others had just given her up as dead, what else were they supposed to think, then here she was again, she just walked into Camp with that collar around her neck as if she'd never been gone.
It was during the day, so her Kits were off playing with their friends, the perfect opportunity to go and ask. It had all been a bit hurried when she'd arrived back in Camp and of course Fallenstar was the first who had needed to be informed - goodness, had even been alive when Fawnspots had been here?
Leaving the Nursery she set out across the Camp, heading towards the Elder's Den, figuring where Mudcloud was, was probably a good place to start.

Fawnspots was contentedly catching up with Mossheart and Mudcloud in the Elder's den -- catching up meaning mostly apologizing for her running off due to their relationship, and asking forgiveness. They'd spoken a bit about their lives whilst being absent of one another, and Fawnspots was already getting used to her brother's scent again when another entered the den.
The entrance darkened a bit as Softclaw entered, and Fawnspots twitched an ear before looking over to see who the newcomer was.
"Softclaw!" she purred.

"Fawnspots!" Softclaw purred, making her way around the other Retired Cats to where Fawnspots was talking with Mudcloud and Mossheart, giving her two friends a nod before sitting down next to the fluffy speckled covered she-cat, "I hope I'm not interrupting, but I just had to come along and see how you were settling back in."
That collar was still around Fawnspots' neck, and while Softclaw had to admit it was a little disconcerting, she wasn't going to point it out, she was sure she'd get used to it in time, or it would just find a way of working its way off of Fawnspots' neck eventually.
"So much has happened since I last saw you and... wow... It's like a life-time has gone past, although I presume you've caught up on most of it from your brother and Mossheart?"

"You're absolutely fine," Fawnspots smiled, breathing in her friend's familiar scent. "It's been a long while -- but I'm so glad to be home. Everything is so new...but yet, so familiar. I didn't expect that Patchstar wouldn't be..."
Her voice trailed off, but she tried to not dwell on it. Yes, Patchstar was gone, but so far, this Fallenstar seemed to be a pretty good leader. Mudcloud didn't like him much, but other than his noisy complaints, Fawnspots hadn't seen anything to dislike about the tabby.
"I'm really glad to see you," the spotted she-cat purred, butting her head against Softclaw's shoulder.

"So where have you been?" Although it was pretty direct, Softclaw couldn't help but ask the question. After all, Fawnspots had vanished without a trace, they'd all given her up for dead, and yet she'd come back to them and given birth to two Kits as well.
She could imagine that Fawnspots had left the Clan of her own freewill, she must have fallen into a river or something and been swept away, or maybe Two-legs were actually wondering in here deep enough to catch her.

"Twoleg house," Fawnspots responded quickly, the words having been rehearsed. She was actually surprised more of her Clanmates hadn't asked her yet, but perhaps they were unsure if it was acceptable to. Probably waiting until she got resettled in the Clan before bombarding her with questions.
