Lightkit is short-tempered, blunt, aggressive, and stands valianty against enemies. He can be arrogant and cocky, as it stems from a place of confidence. While not impulsive, he is reckless, and rebellious. He hates being compared to his brothers or sisters, and has a strong sense of individuality which he insists everyone else understand and respect. He cannot stand when others try to force him into doing something he doesn't want to do, or if they try to talk circles around him.

Despite his many flaws, Lightkit is also extremely kind and caring and fiercely protective of those he considers himself close to. When around those he can relax with, Lightkit is happy, cheerful, carefree, and even humorous. He has a sense of duty and responsibility, and while he's fine to live a less glorious life than other cats, he easily steps into his warrior training to protect his Clanmates.
