ALIGNMENT: CHAOTIC GOOD
A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.

Nightfrost thinks of himself very highly, in a very confident kind of way, but most often it comes across as cocky and vain. He thinks he is great and hopes everyone else does too.

He seems very in-control of his life, and has a very leaderlike attitude to him.
Nightfrost isn't the sharpest claw, and sometimes things go over his head. While he is rather intelligent and clever, he doesn't quite grasp a lot of the body language or subtle signs that his Clanmates would give out.

Nightpaw returned to camp himself after a noonhigh border patrol with Bristlefang and some other warriors. It sure was getting colder, he'd noted, or perhaps that was just because they'd been near the SnowClan border the whole time.
He passed by the Fresh-Kill pile, Bristlefang tasked him with gathering moss for the Nursery and Elders next, but he wanted to grab some lunch first.
He noticed Redpaw depositing some of her catches lazily into the pile. She looked tired, which was unusual for the somali she-cat. Nightpaw nodded to her, "Couldn't sleep?"

The apprentice's presence surprised Redpaw, she had not seen him approach the pile. She yawned and nodded, green eyes bright, although half closed. "Not a wink! I think it was either Lambpaw or Ringpaw sleepin' in the nest beside me last night... Good Starclan they've got real strong legs! Kickin' inna my nest all night." she grumbled.
She picked up a vole, not feeling all that hungry, and placed it down at her paws to continue talking. "I hope Kestrelflight hasn' planned much for later, I'd rather just hang out, take a nap or just some sunhigh lazin' around." a wistful look crossed over her face, and she tilted her head to the side a bit. "What have you got to do?"

"Probably Lambpaw," Nightpaw recalled many a night of being awoken by his restless sister. She slept like a log, too, no amount of shoving or protesting would disturb her. "Sorry about that. Maybe you should move your nest somewhere?"
"I'm sure Kestrelflight will understand if you ask for the day off," the black furred tom suggested. "She seems pretty easygoing, plus she's got goo-goo eyes for Birchcloud over there," he flicked an ear towards the brown warrior. Turning back to Redpaw, he sighed, his eyes rolling. "Bristlecloud has me doing an afternoon of chores again...I'm so tired, I just want to crawl under the Fresh-Kill pile and hide."

Thinking better than to say something else about the kicking, as Lambpaw was Nightpaw's sister. Instead she shrugged, and pawed at her vole. "I guess. I'm one of the newer 'pprentices so I don' have much of choice as of where ma nest can be..." There might be a spot next to Burningpaw, Redpaw thought maybe if she promised to keep quiet he might let her snag a spot in the corner. She'd ask later.
"Yea, they've been spendin' a whole lotta time together. I think it's cute." A lazy smile found its way onto the somali's face. "And you're probably right; I haven' seen 'er around, maybe she's on a patrol, or jus' busy." Her ears flickered towards the dark tom beside her, her smile widening with amusement. Nightpaw would stick out like a burr in the fresh-kill pile, the browns and gingers clashing against his black fur.
"Well... Since I really have nothin' ta do, I could help ya with your chores and maybe we coulda just relax afterwards...?"

"I know how that is. Don't worry, after a while you'll be one of the older ones, right? Then you'll have the best spot in the whole den." He grinned as he saw the smile creep across Redpaw's face. "That would be really nice of you, but you don't have to."

Nightkit was restless. It seemed like his apprenticeship would never get here! Sitting around in the Nursery was going to drive him insane, especially when he was confined to camp. All the apprentices got to explore the territory as they pleased; when would it be his turn??
Deciding to pass the time, Nightkit looked towards Frogsplash's nest to look for Berrykit. The gray she-kit was sound asleep, much to his dismay, but her brother Spotkit was awake. Nightkit's (mostly) amber eyes met Spotkit's.
"Hi," he mewed in greeting, offering a smile. He was always very friendly, especially to the younger kits. "How're you?"

Spotkit cuddled up to his mother's belly, his small flank rising and falling, his breathing soft. The kit's curled ears were pointed backwards, his head was rested on his paws, and his little bobtail twitched. The spotted kit wasn't sleeping, he didn't want to sleep, he NEVER wanted to sleep. He wanted to explore camp all day, and play with leaves, and his littermates, too. But, his mother, Frogsplash, always made him sleep.
The kit's amber eyes flicked around, when he heard the sound of paws on the den's floor. He blinked, and opened his eyes to see another kit's face in front of his. The small kit jumped backwards in surprise, his fur puffed up, his eyes wide. He sighed and relaxed as he saw that it was only another kit who stayed in the nursery. "Hi!" He mewed in his high-pitched voice, "I was fine, until you scared me like that!" Spotkit sat down and scratched behind his ear with one of his forepaws

"Oh, I didn't mean to scare you," the much-larger Nightkit flattened his ears as he took a pawstep back, but his smile remained. "Sorry. I was looking to play with Berrykit but...it seems she's napping."
His thin tail whisked across the ground, disrupting a stray leaf that littered the nursery floor for kits to play with. The resulting crunching noise startled the black tom, who sprung up and whirled around, his fur standing on end.
"Oh," he laughed as he realized what had happened. "Just a leaf. Well...I guess we're even now, having both been scared. What a way to start off the day!"

"No worries," Spotkit squeaked, "I just didn't expect you to appear like that." The little spotted kit scratched behind his ear again. His ears pricked when he heard a crunching noise, it startled him, causing him to jump again. The kit shook his head again and giggled when he saw Nightkit's reaction to the noise. "Yeah," he chuckled, "That's what you get for scaring me... Twice." The curly-eared kit flicked his amber eyes from the Nursery's entrance to Nightkit, and back to the Nursery's entrance.

"You seem a bit jumpy," Nightkit mewed bluntly to the small spotted tom. "Are you always like that or is it just 'cause of me?" he offered a toothy grin, but then it faded as Spotkit seemed to be noticing something else. Curious, Nightkit turned his head to look at the Nursery entrance. "What are you looking at...?" he asked.

"Uhh," he meowed, still looking outside. "I think it's just me." The brown kit scrabbled out of his nest. "I'm looking outside... There are so many leaves!"

"Yeah! They're starting to change color, too." Nightkit waved his tail in excitement, he'd only heard stories from the Warriors and Elders about the changing of the seasons, and now it was finally happening! The Apprentices were already making plans to play in the fallen leaves.
Nightkit's ears perked up as he realized that there were leaves on the ground already. Turning back to Spotkit, he grinned, "Hey! Wanna jump in a pile of leaves with me, Jumpy-kit?"

"Wow!" Spotkit bounced, "I didn't know that leaves could change color!" His little bobtail flicked. A slight breeze ruffled his fur, "It sure is getting colder," he shivered and fluffed out his pelt. The little kit stared outside and watched as a reddish leaf landed gently on the ground.
"Yeah! Let's do th-" He stopped when Nightkit called him 'Jumpy-kit', "My name is Spotkit! Not Jumpy-kit!" He made a pouty face.

"Whaaaaaat," Nightkit mewed very sarcastically, still grinning. "I would have thought--since you were so Jumpy-- that your name would be Jumpykit!" the black tom laughed, seeing that Spotkit was rather upset with his joke. "Hey, I'm just kidding. I know your name is Spotkit," he purred.
