I keep seeing these awesome scenes with a lone tree, and wishing I could find a tree in such a desolate place so I can take a picture. Never happened, or if it did, I never noticed. I finally decided to make one. Made in Terragen. Terrain is the Picos mountains in Spain. Postwork in Paint Shop Pro.Related content

That's postwork. Terragen doesn't make trees yet. I got that tree from someone (don't remember who right now) and all I had to do was make the background transparent, and it was ready to use.

The terragen homesite? Planetside.UK has links to Terrain tree software. you can place the trees after or post in PS or whatever. Its all a matter of scale i believe. The Terragen Website should have links to software for trees though. and lots of tutorials.
