yowza, the difference is quite stunning! hehe, cheating? I think that cropping, rotating, and reasonable contrast and saturation adjustment all fall well in the realm of non cheating. Because you could have made all those adjustments with your camera and/or various lens filters.
that is an atrocious amount of smog when you think about it though. you should juxtapose the photos and add some spiffy one liner about smog pollution....
I sat here for a couple of minutes but I couldn't think of any.
