and here comes the inki finally finished this one plus i dont think i shouldt touch i to much more i was really nit picky with it but oh well there are thing that i would have done differently but that is what learning at least im getting better at inking now
so im happy about that i think the next thing ill be doing to this picture is to edit it digitally cause i need to figure out how to use such programs i nkow i could make so really awesome shit with that heheh and btw this is th 5th time i tried to submit this picture i hope it works now errrrrrrrrr

cool cool cool, i gotta tell my friend to do what you do to your art , inking it , so you just go over the pencil altogether? erase some of the pencil afterwards?

yep thats the idea i used in that one it was too plain without the background shading
yeah but dont over do the shading cause youll permanentally dark areas you mind want lighter
in order usually pencil, ink then and bit more pencil and erasing where need during the entire work

This is pretty cool. Are the arrow shapes around the head supposed to look like bird skulls/beaks? (they do)

hehe nope ther not i suppose its just the shading but they are really not suppose to be bird skull/beaks

oh yeah and btw you work is increadible how did you colour them so well like scorpions arms are one of the best i seen its just amazing i love it

The digital pictures aren't as hard as they seem (or at least, they aren't as hard as I thought they would be). It's basically just the airbrush tool (ranging between 15-50% pressure depending on what I'm coloring). What I have been doing is just putting down a medium tone and then adding highlights and darker areas on top. I have a tablet though - which is a lot easier than trying to paint with a mouse (I've never had much luck with a mouse). Tablets are quite expensive (a decent one will cost you at least 200-300 dollars), but if you are interested in doing a lot of digital art then they are worth the investment. That was pretty much all I could afford to buy for myself in 2004 though

im using a staedtler pigment liners im using size 005 i dont know if its 0.05 millimeter think or if its .005 but it is really small id compair it to a pencil very finely sharpeed wiyth ink coming out of fit i aslo used ofer sizes but mostly the one i mentioned.
i was thinking about using indian ink but i didnt have that great of paper to use to do it so i used the pens i had
