Unamused by her flaky scalp
At least her spiky style remains unscathed i know she's a porcupine so it's naturally spiky shut up just being nice xD

Ahahaha...Oh Flaky. The curse of having psoriasis...
Fun fact: I draw her quills in that minimalist way cuz I actually hate her quill style in the show (Maybe because I struggle to get a similar look)

Haha I was wondering--
truth be told, I like the simpler look you draw for her~ it's much more pleasing than the normal show's 2-Dimensional hair/quills have 2-Dimensional spikes growing out of it. Realistically they wouldn't be visible anyways, being red-on-red quills, unless she rotates.

Oh, thank you! Yeah, I like how I draw her quills in my style; plus it's easier to draw XD

I hope you know I don't mean to little the show's canonical artstyle for her. But that hair can be rather distracting by its undetailed detail.

Yeah, I understand. It's the show after all. I like and appreciate Flaky for how she looks originally on the show, I just felt that she could do a bit better with her quills. I still love her :3
By the way, have you ever noticed the artstyle in the later episodes in the old Season 2 of Happy Tree Friends?

I know you love Flaky; it's in your comment signature
And by latter Season 2, that's with "Keeping it Reel" and "Let it Slide", correct?

Yeah, kind of. Actually, more like closer to A to Zoo. I noticed the artstyle and animation is very slightly different. But, in my opinion, looks the best.

Ah, yes. A to Zoo had an excellent artstyle with equally appealing animation. As I've previously stated, I'm partial to the TV episodes myself, but that's just my opinion. But I can see why you like that style of animation, being less forced and more fluid.

Yeah, I loved that part of Season 2. It's very subtle but that's why I prefer it over the other artstyles, although the TV series were very good and not 'forced' like the later recent internet episodes

I agree wholeheartedly. When the animation moves joint-by-joint with the death scenes just feeling like they're "drawn-in", I get this feeling of laziness that I often regard with fan-animations. Not to dis the animation crew by any means; after all, animating ain't easy~

Yeah, not too smooth; just right. Doesn't have that old vintage look of the first season, but also doesn't have the generic look of the newer eps I think
