Story:

Darkside went to his daughter and realized that Purple Night was an ancient threat that her mother Galaxia had banished from. I don't hesitate to protect your daughter and Equestria. He and the other ponies began to fight her.

Lightsky was protecting Starshien, which was his duty, but despite that he was afraid to attack Purple Night. Starshine was sorry that he couldn't use all his magic due to his broken horn.
But at that moment despite Purple Night taking the opportunity to attack all the ponies, Starshine was on the ground when suddenly the elements appeared in front of her. In her element she saw Lightsky reflected, and at that moment she understood that she could not defeat Purple Night and that the only one who had enough power was Lightsky.

Starshine: I'll never be able to defeat her, but you Lightsky are the most powerful pony I've ever seen. And I know that you are the only one who can defeat her, so I am going to help you to recover all your magic.

And at that moment Starshine took the elements and began to focus her magic on them.

Starshine: (whispering) I know that after this I won't have the same power as before but it's what I have to do, for Equestria and for Lightsky.
