Description
An old drawing of a robot contemplating its only organic part. Its hand stands in contrast to the rest of its body. The original concept is seeking the things that can prove we are more than a random cascade of DNA and biochemical reactions. We seek beauty and the ability to recreate the beauty seen for others (especially as artists). Most of our lives are determined by the automated functions of eat, sleep, work, and repeat, but the one thing we can do that defies logic is draw goofy robots in a Waffle House with a ballpoint pen in an art notebook. It's a bit pretentious, I know, but younger me was wrapped in existentialism and the nature of reality.
