I know that composition is arguably the most important thing about a piece but I feel like just doing a live trace and splashing color around seems uninspired. The idea is solid but it seems like with a little work it could go to the next level.

oddity is the western explanation to the war, since majority of the civilized world, even some people in my country -and we are almost at the same area- describe the situation as a crisis. it is not a bloody crisis, one country declared an open war to another countyr, i do not care what the fuck the bloody radical islamist had done to israel, i am in the no man's land neither support israel in this or the islamist, but killing innocent people and taking away future of a country cannot be described as crisis.

Brilliant. A very emotional piece. On a techincal note, I can see that you tried to blur out the jaggies on the red splatters. I'm not sure what to tell you to do to eliminate them, as you don't say what application you used to make this. Even still a great piece.

thanks a lot for the great constructive comment i used illustrator cs2 for the live trace and live paint and then photoshop for framing and splatters.
