This is just 1 of about 10 characters I had to create for an Album cover that was going to have a pull out poster with a huge street scene of LA with a group of rappers posing..The commission didn't work out so well, nothing I want to get into but It didn't have a happy ending.. I feel very ripped off!
I'm not going to show the whole final piece but here's 50cent, it's fairly old now so it's not the same as my stuff now

I`ve always thought that 50 Cent looks like a Super Hero,looking back at how he would market himself when he had his breakthrough album nearly ten years ago,he certainly did market himself as being almost like this invincible Comic Book Super Hero or like he was The Terminator.
The real 50 Cent translates pretty easily into hype-realistic art,I agree with Xerces,the attention to detail with the tattoos is impressive.
Overall,it`s a damned good drawing.But,CarolineM919 said something I agree with,you probably could have made his skin a darker shade.The real 50 Cent has isn`t that light-skinned.I also agree with bbtbET790,maybe you could have had him look even meaner and angrier,put a Kevlar Vest on him and give him a gun.
I don`t entirely agree with Montana4116 that you are wasting your talent on a subject such as 50 Cent,why isn`t 50 Cent a worthy subject for a good artist to draw? There are artistic portrayals of Hitler,Mussolini,Gaddafi,Bin Laden,Mao,Pol Pot,Pablo Escobar,Manuel Noriega and so on,so I think there can be artistic portrayals of a Former Drug Dealer turned Rap Superstar/Actor(though his popularity in Hip Hop seems to have faded some over the years).If people don`t like artistic rendering of ''Fiddy'',they don`t have to look them up,do they?
But I do agree that I would love to see how you would do an interpretation of Tupac Shakur or The Notorious B.I.G. or Jay-Z or Nas or Wu-Tang Clan or Lil Wayne or N.W.A. or Eminem or T.I. or Young Jeezy and so on.

Dude, I must say that your style is...well it's sublime. It's just a shame that your talent had to be wasted on a subject such as 50 Cent. Though I would love to see your interpretation of Tupac.
