I couldn't help myself, after playing Fallout 3 (PS3) I just had to make some artwork on it!This is basically what my character looks like in the game.. I tried to make him look like Jason Statham hahaha! And the dog (Dogmeat) is sooo cool, It's one of my favorite features about the game.. Just scoping out the wastelands, just me and my dog haha!
- Done in about 15-20 hours
- Using Photoshop CS2/Wacom Graphics Tablet
I really suggest getting Fallout 3! I LOVED IT!

I like this image but, if you may, I would make a suggestion about one certain aspect. The shadows are basically okay but the characters seem a bit "floating" since the shadows near the characters feet are equally subtle as everywhere else. Maybe a bit darker shade for the point of connection with the feet and ground.

So a breakdown of your typical outfit: Armored vault jumpsuit, smg (or sydney's for the most powerful) firing 10mm rounds and good for close quarters with multiple weak enemies or very few strond enemies, hunting rifle (or o'l painless for the most powerful) firing .32 rounds for general scouting and medium range firing, sniper rifle (or victory rifle for the most powerful) firing .308 rounds and good for long range attacks on a few enemies,and a combat knife (or ocean's razor for the most powerful) with good ap hits for vats but overall not very effective. A few other additives, and minus the combat knife, sounds like you got your shit covered. good job.

I just wish the armored jumpsuit was more resilient and/or could be repaired with other apparel. but once it starts to deteriorate the best you can do is wolfgang's repair of 83% itll never be 100 again...

What I like about this is that you managed to capture the atmosphere perfectly, I like the Nuka Cola and the cap on the ground (Money plz) and the billboard in the background.
Also, I still want to know how to get followers...

Dogmeat is pretty awesome, I haven't gotten him yet but I've seen my boyfriend running around with him when he plays. I personally love running around with Jericho.

I use Dogmeat to find super rare ammo for the alien blaster lol my favorite weapon in the whole game behind the Lincoln Reapter and other goodies
I also have Fallout 3 for the PS3 I'll just wait till the DLC is here to download!!^_^ If you have it for the PS3 then don't waste it another 60 bucks just download one chapter at a time!! All good things for those who wait right

Love the personal twist on this shot you saw before with the lone 101 walking off with Dogmeat and cool to do a nice little action pose, watch out muties!
Must say what unbelievable detail on the town in the back and details including the Pipboy and that stash of weapons, hats off patrickbrown.
