Actually I don't like adding just to the pile of "wow, great stuff" comments, but I'm really so glad to finally see how you achieve this great style of yours! I was especially curious about the mixed sharp/soft shading, now I see Thank you very much! By the way, it's also very well done as a tutorial, interesting while instructive
So, there's only one thing left to say:
Wow, great stuff!

Can't thank you enough for finally posting this tut, been waiting a long time but it was well worth it. Only crit is that the Super EPIC music is a bit much at certain times, or drops off dramatically at others. Not a major crit toward the content, but it gets distracting pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong, it's better than just dead space, but it could be toned down a little.
Many thanks, & mucho love and cornchips for sharing your wisdom with us.

What exactly do you mean by "movement in your lines"? My guess, going by what you were doing when you said it, would be a varied thickness.... is that right?
Nice tut ! Thanks for taking the time to show us your technique

PatrickBrown In reply to Quazzie [2011-06-30 00:08:58 +0000 UTC]
Yeah kind of, by movement in your lines I mean how smooth they look, no jagged lines. and How the lines will go from thick to thin with the pen pressure
