I hope you don't mind, I attemped to color this in class. We had to color something and I love your work, so this is my first time coloring anything in photoshop.

I don't mind at all that you colored my line art.
My advice is to start with your flat colors on one layer and then add two more layers to create your shadows on one and your highlights on the other. The added sparkle is a nice touch which tells you that there is light hitting the figure, so you should really see those shadows.
