Well, I teach thirteen-year-olds, and I can tell you straight-up that that age group has no business forming committed relationships - at least not ones they choose themselves. There were reasons for early marriage (namely, shorter life expectancy, health and fertility issues, and the need to produce lots of heirs quickly, just in case a few of them kick it before they grow up). But unless you want to go back to arranged marriage and strict patriarchy, I think we're all better off waiting a few more years. It comes with the territory of female equality. <3
(And I'd argue that Narnia doesn't count, because IT'S MAGIC.
