Thank you kindly, yes the hands were def the worst part, hoped to find image ref online but in the end had to resort to computer camera shot. I plan to revisit it at some point, really wanna do it justice, and I've had somewhat of a pet hate for the UK & Ireland covers of the books. Btw, love your work, especially the Kvothe piece, great celtic feel to it!

yeah, I always end up using photo references too. I guess I'm lucky, I'm pretty happy with the US covers (well, not the alternate cover where he's shirtless ... that one is weird to me)

Haha, yes, I remember that one, had a strange erotic romance novel vibe going on. I could always do a similar one for Wise Man's Fear(much more sexy shenanigans going on there to chose from), but I fear that would be a dangerous step towards slash fan fiction and I'am not prepared to tread that path!
