Yesssss. Like... I don't have a huge pool of experience with games to compare it against (though I LOVE IT), but the STORY and CHARACTERS... dang. Even the little things like their new voice responses just tell you so much. Valve, y u so awesome?

I completely agree. When my bro first showed TF2 to me, i was unimpressed because i thought it was just another first person shooter, it has no end, so what's the point.
Then i decided to give it a try anyway, and that's when i got acquainted with the CHARACTERS, all of whom could just as well be real people, or maybe even better. I keep discovering more and more enticing bits about this universe and now i'm grateful this game has no end.
Note to the author of this picture! Engi is so cute here it makes me wanna run right to him to cuddle him up despite the amount of bullets his sentries would send into me on my way

VALVe are so great, a back story is pretty huge, I've followed it since the release of TF2, So many free updates, yet so many complain? People should be grateful of the free stuff they place into the game

I know right? I'm floored by how many people can't just enjoy the genius of the game and have to complain about hat prices or whatever. Heck, whenever I buy anything for TF2, I feel like I'm making a donation for its continued existence, and they're giving me a hat in appreciation.
