It looks like the Blu Scout has a hard or not so hard Decision,Should he kill the Red Spy or let him live?

I recently saw this action movie. The Hero was with the bad guy in one of those "Ledge" moments. When he pulled the bad guy up from the ledge, then knocked him out. If I were Scoot I would get Shpee from the ledge then knock him out and get away safely. He's not dead, but he can't kill me.
