Yet ANOTHER game franchise I got into this year (out of self curiosity this time), and in time for it's second installment's tenth anniversary (sorta), is Portal. I've obviously KNOWN about it before, but never sought the opportunity to get it until I remembered I got a decent gaming laptop now. So I bought the first two Portal games (I have yet to play Reloaded at the time of me drawing this), and I love it to death! So much so, that since I played it finally (and after watching Godzilla vs Kong), another idea sparked in my head for a potential drawing. That of course being the name of this piece.

Now unlike my TF2 with Kaijus series of drawings where I reimagined the mercs from TF2 as giant monsters to be used in a potential story of their own BASED off the story of the game and not as a crossover with TF2 or Godzilla, this, obviously, is an actual crossover. Where in a world where Godzilla existed in the Portal/Half Life universe, Aperture could incorporate a whole bunch of it's most famous technologies, products, AI interconnectivity, and robot design styles, into a robotic duplicate of the titular Kaiju King to fight against him. While the functions of their most famous product, the Portal Gun, were omitted from being apart of the Mecha's arsenal (mostly from being somewhat impractical and EXTRAORDINARILY dangerous to make something that produces building sized portals and slap them onto a giant robot dinosaur), most of their other products and tech can fit quite well for it. Weapons like multiple retractible turret guns, twin rocket turrets, thermal discouragement beams, it's arms converted from the Portal Gun's design can now shoot propulsion and repulsion gels, an excursion funnel in it's chest, crusher panels for jaws, and behind said jaws are vents that can spew flammable neurotoxin. Potentially, it could even be piloted by interfaced Personality Cores.
