Flames. Sputtering, angry nature of light, as if something had made them yearn for revenge. As if the grass had done something of harm - the dens, the nests, the territory. Her home. It was all being consumed by this massive accommodation of fire, which had happened as suddenly as she had fallen asleep. Her mouth couldn’t help but go ajar to allow the terrible musk of smoke to fill her lungs. Despite being in the centre of all this fury, the she-cat stood motionless, with only a hint of warmth around her body. Her face spoke of fear, astonishment, anger. If her territory were to perish, why couldn’t she? She had nothing. Winds that the flames emitted ruffled her fur for her longest while as this went on. Whatever this entire situation was, it felt like it lasted forever. Goldenspring was a prisoner here... that’s what she learned. And behind her, two sets of eyes filled with fury loomed. She couldn’t see it, but she could feel... something. And before she had anything more to feel, she snapped back as a sudden thud occurred outside- likely that of kittens or apprentices, a stick or something solid. Her breath was quickened and she was panting at this point. She desperately flung her front paws onto her head and continuously batted at herself. She didn’t want this dirt dream anymore! She was tired! The warrior barely slept the night before knowing that the nightmare would occur again. How long has it been since her first? Two? Three weeks? She hadn’t been counting, she rather focused on her anger towards everything that’s been happening. She knew the rogues were a bad idea, perhaps Scarletstar would have to kill that pregnant mousedung too! She huffed tiredly in her nest. Goldenspring wasn’t going to put an effort in going out today.
