I'm bad at developing back stories for the things I draw xD
Wanted to shove it to the Ran haters that you can be a good kickass character even if you show emotions.
I mainly wanted to do some badass Ran with KO'd Shin/Cone. Since Shinichi/Conan always(or most of the time) seems to have the upper hand, If he was ever out of commission I want to see more Ran be like his partner(not just romantically but like side by side team). Also, you were close! The shoes meant to resemble failure. That what he tried to do didn't work out, it's like he exhausted all the options, save for one: Ran
