I don't know how to explain it aaaa. Honestly, it takes a lot of practice and attention to the style to do it, before you can get the hang of it without references. I do use some circle tools to draw stuff like the head and eyes, and I draw the rest of the lines by hand using one strokes.

No problem!
It's actually possible to draw without a tablet. You can use your mouse! You can use a pen tool to draw the lines perfectly but the downside is, you can't draw lines as expressive as using a tablet.
I definitely recommend getting a tablet tho! It makes drawing digitally easier . You don't need an expensive one. I bought mine for $200 but I've heard of other people using tablets with lower prices!
