you are caning now? ugh, I have avoided it because of all that clay you have to use, and the waste. Who needs a 6 inch log of the same design? lol unless of course you are Sarah Schrieber.....anyway, I love this little pig, he is adorable!

This is probably the most basic basic canning!
put a square of white polymer on a square of black polymer.... lay them on top of each other, cut in the middle lay the two halves on top of each other, and then slice small slivers of the clay and add... Leslie could explain this way better!!!

at least it isn't one of those really complicated ones that requires lots and lots of clay. And I spelled Sarah's name wrong. It is Shriver. I am considering taking a class at the Beadwork Expo coming up in Oakland in April. I can't really afford the $95 dollar class but her canes are so beautiful. And if I were to learn caning then I would rather learn from her. I realize 95 is pretty reasonable for a class but its a lot of money when you are on a tight budget
