Wow! I bet that's Ursula with less weight she had in the film.
Awesome work!

Maleficent, Hades, and Ursula (in that order) are on the top of my list as favorite Disney Villains.Β Β Β I like your take on Ursula very much and as DarthMcBob pointed out this is what Ursula could have looked like when she was younger.Β Β As with Maleficent, I think Ursula could have an interesting back story as well.Β Β Perhaps there was a good side to her at one point.Β I clearly remember her saying, "We had fantastical feasts when I lived in the palace."Β Β I does kind of make you wonder.Β At any rate, I do love your 'beautiful' take on Ursula.
BTW, are you familiar with Once Upon a Time?Β It is Disney series on cable TV.Β Β Well I found out that the main character, Regina, depicts Ursula.Β VERY beautiful:

Would be a much more mature choice, storytelling wise, not to betray evilness by ugliness. Very well imagined, nicely Disney-esque executed.

Thank you for your reply. I enjoy your style very much. It is not 100%-Disneyesque, just this one notch next to the track which betrays both skill as well as an own personal style.
Thinking about it, my remark nails almost any movie. It is very rare to see a move where, even if the heroine is not outright beautiful, she is not improved considerably over the course of the action. On the other hand, even beautiful villains get usually disfigured somehow (or it is made clear that their beauty is cheated).
The longer one thinks about it, the cheaper it gets. But perhaps we want it that way.

I guess this is her when she was younger? Looks like she really let herself go in her later years.
Anyway, great design.
