A drawing in inc from 1983 called Kerodon.The Vehicle (concret the wheel construction) was inspired by an Amphitransporter in the movie "Damnation Alley" from 1977.
The Design based upon a guinea pig.
One of the objects that i try to color in the next time.

Nice! Though I'm concerned about how low-slung it is, especially the cab--the tristar wheel arrangement is meant to let you traverse nasty potholes and other really rough terrain without getting stuck; it won't do any good if your front bumper gets hung up on every speedbump.

So this must be a planetary scout vehicle or a mineral prospector? Still I just imagine this bad boy underwater crawling on the bottom of a alien ocean sc outing or looking for samples! ? where are the self defense weapons. Are they in a pop-up turret? That makes sense.
