Cant explain the round-about way it got there, but it is now being used for a book cover. As for technique, the composition is a combination of full value pencil and markers, then finished off digitally. Lately I really enjoy working physically on a piece for as long as I can before scanning and refining it in the computer- just really like the hands on feelRelated content

Don't ever let go of the "hands on" approach. Use the digital as much as you want but I found far too late that if you walk away from the traditional methods, all the muscles required to make it work well tend to atrophy.
Your piece looks great and it appears as though you are finding a wonderful balance between the traditional and digital.

sometime pick "mixes media" makes you feel like a really awesome artist. ^^ (there is so much people that only can do digital works, or only traditional paints/draws... You get the point... it was like you said "scanning and refining", the real magic was there after the computer). ^^ To favs... Keep the good work, my frend. ^^
