Description Inspired by Halloween approaching, each morning this past week I painted one of these classic movie monsters on very small surfaces- around 5x7 on average. With the exception of the Frankenstein done in watercolor, the rest are in acrylic. The wolfman is done in Golden Open acrylics, allowing me to finally test them out.

All of these look really cool, nice work! What did you think about the golden acrylics?

Thaks- glad you like them
I had fun working with the Open acrylics, thought the next time I use them I'll underpaint first with regular acrylics to establish basic values or tone the canvas prior to painting with a midground.. The reason for that is because the darks in particular were too transparent, allowing the white of the ground to show through. It took several passes to really get them to the value and richness that I wanted.
