Right infront of you.

You wanted to scream, for you were more than pleased to see him alive, You wanted to run to him, you wanted to throw yourself into his arms, for you were still in love with him.

But you couldn't move at all.

You sobbed hard, covering your face with your hands.

He is badly bruised, slashed and scarred. His cheeks are puffed and red, you could tell he had been crying. The clothes you last layed out for him, to which he was wearing were torn, and covered in dry blood. 'What the hell' You thought to yourself, but you didn't want to question him.

He couldn't even look at you, his eyes were directed at the ground. He sighs. "(Y/N) I'm so sorry..." To that, you shake your head and look up, your body still frozen, a lump forms in your throat.

There was a good few minutes of silence, you and him exchanged a look for a small moment, then continued to stare at both of your feet. "(Y/N) please say something." he says, in almost a begging tone. You only shake your head.

"(Y/N)...'

"Edward..." You finally manage to choke out before you become another sobbing mess.

He moves towards you, coaxing you against his chest with his arms tightly wrapped around your small figure. He kisses the top of your head and sighs. "I'm home... Ich liebe dich (Y/N)" He says squeezing you against his body.

"I love you too, Edward."
