Hi! This is a comment from

First of all I have to say that I love all kinds of fantasy art, I've grown up reading about mithycal creatures, elves and fairies. I really like the idea of a portrait family so particular (I don't know if they're ocs or not, but I like them, expecially the batbulldog eheheh)
As it has to be a contructive comment i can give you some advices , the first thing I can see here is that your characters seem to don't "interact" with the location and background. I try to explain better. The greatest trouble in coloring is to make objects and people as more tridimentional as possible. The best way to do it is using lights. If you choose a a lightspot before coloring it will be more easy to choose your palette and to shade colors (as you really well done in the little girl's skirt). Another way to help yourself expecially in a work like that where the environment is so important is to use it! For example making some grass covering part of their feet or part of the lady's gown. It is a little detail very easy to do that can change completely the effect from a "green carpet" to a florid meadow. You can also consider, as they're in a forest, to use some rays of light filtering from trees fronds to light up parts of your characters (i see that some leaves are in a brighter green so light comes from somewhere ). In the end you can try to pay attention in composition, just like when you shoot with a camera. There are some really easy rules that will help you to choose how to cut or center your picture  giving a good balance between elements and helping people who see your works to focus immediately on the real protagonists HERE  you can find a summary
I really hope that I haven't been to much strict, in that case I'm sorry, but when people look at my works I love to receive advices to improve and I hope it's the same for you!

Thanks for the advises! I try to add more colors from the enviroment but I guess I don't do it enough, I'm a bit timid with colors because of things people said to me when I was a begginer (that made me draw only B&W for years). There's a little bit of grass in front of them too xD. I should have made some branches and bushes in front, some animal, birds.
I will put more freedom to the next piece
Thanks!

I love the vision and atmosphere of this piece ! I would just say to adjust the light a little bit, it looks like they are in a dark forest but they are brightly lit. But it's a great piece of artwork

The Queen and the centaur must have a pretty *ahem* interesting love story behind them.

The comissioner said 'princess' so I draw her totally human.
