This piece caught my attention the moment I laid eyes on it! I love the entire piece but the thing that stands out the most to me is the owl and the wheel. I also really like the mice, that was a nice touch. The skeleton (mouse) looks a bit sad, he's like "George!" which I love! Also, the spell book! Love it! One thing that, I'd personally, change would be to add a bit more detail, especially in the background. That's pretty much it. I love the specks in the brick, the glowy-ness and that wheel, I love the wheel! I personally disagree with the other person's view on the whole reference thing, I think that you used many elements from their artwork however, I think that you definitely put your own spin on it. Excellent work!

Your piece immediately caught my attention! The white owl is just so magnificent and stands out so well. It looks like an albino, which is a really cool idea. I really like the mice, especially the skeleton that seems to be reaching for the one inside the pentagram (i think its a pentagram?). What i'd like to point out how you did not use one particular style - for the owl and the skull, the style is pretty realistic but then you have the moon and sparks that are more cartoonish. Another thing is, if you get inspired by another person's artwork, you could try adding your own ideas too in the future-for example (if you wanna make it look similiar) just put a few of your objects in there, or maybe take the idea of the person and twist it in your own way. One last thing would be the light from the moon-it is pretty unrealistic and its almost invisible. If you made it wider and brighter, it would really make the owl stand out! I am not saying your piece doesnt look good though, it is really good!
Overall though, the picture look really good and you have great potential!

The drawing is not a copy of the original. I made changes, adjusted the perspective, reduced a lot the number of things in the image and changed the concept, here the owl is sacrificing one mouse to give life to the other mouse xD, the one on the flask.
(Well, I think that's very clear looking both together, not even the style is the same)
I wanted to do this a bit cartoonish, if something looks realistic is an accident :v
