I don't pet them much either.Years ago, I was in a pet store and often got to handle different creatures there. The clerk comes up to me, with me thinking " oh, what's she got?" and then I jump back when she shoves a tarantula in my face. So much for impressing her.
The movie stars Lon Chaney jr as a caretaker for some "orphans". It's a b-grade that would have been great at the drive-in. It's the Addams family on acid. I have a copy, somewhere. maybe I can make one for you, if you have no luck.
