Dr. Evelyn walked back to her machine, leaving Ruby to balance precariously in her strict cocoon. She made some adjustments, then turned to Ruby and said, "Still glad you took this job Ruby?"

"Yessmmmmmfff!!..."

Dr. Evelyn had timed it perfectly. Just as Ruby opened her mouth to respond, she had pressed a button which caused the machine to launch a small pellet into Ruby's mouth that instantly expanded, filling her mouth completely. Before Ruby could react, the machine's nozzle was firing its silk threads at her head, wrapping it in a tight hood and holding her gag securely in her mouth. There was nothing Ruby could do as the machine finished her cocoon. Now every inch of her elfin body was securely trussed, and she was blind and gagged too.

"There we go my little pet," Dr. Evelyn cooed. "All wrapped up and ready to go. I've been constructing a similar machine at my home, and I need you to help me test that one too. I hope you don't have any plans for tonight, or the rest of the weekend for that matter."

"Mmmmnphh..." was all Ruby could get out past the gag that filled her mouth.

"Good," Dr. Evelyn said, and hoisted Ruby's bound body over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Ruby was amazed at how strong she was.

"I don't know if it was explained to you that you are to be my personal assistant in everything I do. And I do mean 'personal'."

As Dr. Evelyn effortlessly carried the helpless elf-girl out of the office, Ruby couldn't help but blush and smile to herself beneath the snug cocoon. If today was any indication, she was going to like this new job. She was going to like this new job a lot.
