Beautiful capture in this one. I love how these longer exposures bring out detail, and sometimes blur other detail, to give such a mood to a photo. I found this by way of this news article BTW [link]

Absolutely striking and astounding how you captured the mist and the tones around the wreck, not to mention how sweet it is that the wreck actually breaks the water. Def deserved DailyDev!

Any time. I can't wait to see the progression of your works and your style in the future. There isn't really a name behind it, just a inside joke. Its been my Screen name for a really long time though, so there have been many a joke about it. Any way, hope to talk to ya soon.
Peace Easy,
Dave

Umm, no ice in Queensland Australia.. home of the Gold Coast.. (think Miami for a similar climate).
It's a long exposure, capturing the movement of the water.

Cool, I'm really hoping to get to Tasmania one day.. we're currently traveling Australia. Unfortunately Tassie isn't on our list at this stage.. probably early 2010.

I really love the colors, they look amazing. And it the wreck makes me think of some sort of oceanic venus fly trap opening its jaws just above the surface.

This is really impressive! Congrats on the DD. But how big is that shipwreck actually? I have not concept of its size looking at it (mostly because the ocean lacks surface masses that you measure against.)

The bars are a bit above waist high.. maybe around 3.5 feet tall..

Amazing colors, and great choice of subject-
...woah. That sounded too smart for me. I need to fix that.
